HOW PRICE OF THE DENTAL BRACES IS CALCULATED?
The braces calculation aims to provide the estimated price information of the patients who are considering having braces because their many teeth are crooked. The prices of braces are determined by the Turkish Dental Association every year. Such orthodontic price list includes dental braces for angular tooth structure, mounting of brackets, falling bracket construction, reinforcement treatment, rapid maxillary enlargement and price information including VAT and excluding of VAT. These prices are not the mandatory price application but the recommended treatment fees. Each physician can apply the dental appliance application cost determined by their own.
The prices of braces have increased in recent years as a reflection of the increase in the dollar. However, the cost should be known as the main reason for the increase.Because everyone has a different dental problem, personalized price information is only possible after a clear examination. However, the price range varies between 2500tl and 7500tl in recent years. Single jaw prices are not always half the double jaw price.
Factors affecting the price of the braces:
- Property of bracket and brace material
- Single and double jaw structure
- Amount of crooked teeth
- Separated teeth and amount of distance between them
- Gummy smiley, gingival is apparent higher than normal levels
- Jaw is at front and back
- Structural defects like narrow palate and jaw
According to the type of the material metal, porcelain bracket or transparent plaque treatments are used. While calculating the price of other braces, their usage in single or double jaw is used. Materials from cheap to expensive:

Even if there is only one tooth, that tooth will affect the entire jaw's order, so that the jaws and braces should be inserted starting from the most peripheral teeth. In most cases, having one tooth or more teeth with the same jaw, does not affect the result of the braces calculation. Brace prices for single jaws are mostly in the range of 2500-5000 tl and double jaws are between 4500-7500tl.
If the amount of crooked teeth is too high, the teeth may be more inclined, more elevated, more or less missing, the price may change if there are too many teeth in which are away from the standard position. Sometimes a tooth or a tooth that was pulled years ago and other teeth to press the teeth out, the extra tooth to compress other teeth can produce these results.

Patients who do not want to be treated surgically in more severe cases may prefer orthodontic treatment.
